I'm Hayley.
I have an exciting collection of vintage cameras, a particular fondness for children’s books, and a (not so small) obsession with house plants. I live in Cape Town with my lego-loving husband, our sweet girl Joni Bea and our cheeky doggo named Whisky.
I have always been a keen observer, a fly on the wall, paying notice to life in all its wonder. I like to approach my photography in the same way, capturing honest, raw and authentic moments as they happen.
With over ten years experience in the industry, I can safely say that it is always such an honour and joy to be able to capture love stories of every kind.
my approach is calm, happy, and easy
I live for honest and candid moments; and I truly believe that these are the ones you'll treasure the most. It's also really important that you enjoy your day and spend as much time with your loved ones as possible.
For this reason my work is focused on an organic and documentary approach to capture your day. We have fun and prioritise natural moments throughout, even during our portrait sessions.
I also totally get that not everyone is comfortable in front of a lens! Fear not, I keep things very relaxed and fuss-free; only guiding you if and when you need it.
I only take on a limited number of weddings a year to focus my time and love on my clients. It's also best for us to have a good connection and for you to have complete trust in me; so I would love to meet with you over a cuppa and chat further!
